During times like these and in this summer heat a delicious cold coffee drink is essential, it cools you down but still gets you through the day. These unique cold coffee drink recipes can be made at home in 5 minutes to serve and enjoy during the summertime.

During the summer, mornings are already sunny and warm, instead of drinking a hot cup of joe, make a coffee smoothie instead. For mornings, a banana coffee smoothie is a way to go! This recipe is from Lacey Baier, owner of Sweet Pea Chef LLC. She came up with this recipe in order to give people a healthy choice of smoothies to prepare at home and a breakfast alternative. This banana coffee smoothie is gluten-free, has no processed sugars, and can be vegan!


  • Milk (of your choice)

  • Half frozen banana (the riper, the sweeter, the better!)

  • Nut butter- Peanut, Cashew, or Almond

  • Vanilla extract

  • Coffee- Freshly grounded AND brewed, chilled coffee

  • Ice (optional for thickness or if you don't have a frozen banana)

  • Honey- For sweetness (and if not, vegan)


Throw all your ingredients into a blender, a high-speed blender, or set your blender on its highest level. Blend until smooth. If your smoothie is too thick, add more coffee or milk to loosen up. If your smoothie is too thin, add ice cubes and re-blend it.

This mango smoothie is perfect for brunch and evenings, especially on a sunny summer day. This recipe is from where chefs share recipes online. If you love mango smoothies and coffee, this recipe is perfect for you, the finishing taste will be a sweet and refreshing cold beverage.


  • 2 mangos

  • 1 glass of chilled milk

  • ½ glass of lukewarm water

  • ¼ Coffee powder

  • 3 tsp sugar

  • 2 tsp honey

  • Ice as needed

  • Mint leaves (as needed, for garnishing)


First, you will want to peel the mangos and cut them into pieces. Secondly, mix the coffee powder into lukewarm water. Thirdly, take all the ingredients and throw them into a blender and blend until smooth. You can always add ice cubes and garnish with mint leaves.

Cold Brew Lemonade

Nothing tastes better than lemonade in the summer but try infusing lemonade with cold brew and you will have a delicious chill citrus drink with the perfect balance of coffee. The drink is so similar to hot coffee with lemon if it was chilled because lemon is loaded with vitamin c, cold brew lemonades are a healthy choice of beverage for this summer and are easy to make in large batches.


  • 1-2 oz lemon juice

  • 20-30g simple syrup

  • 4-5oz water

  • 4-5oz cold brew

  • Ice (as needed)


  1. Make lemonade - Mix lemon juice, simple syrup, and water in a cup and taste it as needed, until you have a balanced taste of fresh lemonade. It should not be too tart or too sweet because the cold brew will do that on its own when you add it all together.

  2. Once you have your lemonade ready, add ice cubes to the cup and pour in your cold brew coffee on top.

  3. Mix the drinks needed, sip, and enjoy!

This recipe takes less than five minutes and is perfect for pool days, a cook-out, or even for a relaxing evening.

Sparkling Cold Brew

This cold brew was meant for sparkling water lovers, the taste of this drink is intense and refreshing, which is exactly what our taste buds desire in the summertime. This is an inspired recipe from a health-conscious foodie, Kelsey, of This is by far the easiest and quickest recipe for a cold coffee beverage that is vivid in taste.


  • 1 part cold brew concentrate

  • 2 parts sparkling water (of your choice)


Pour cold brew coffee on top of ice in a cup and top it off with sparkling water. Mix it, sip, and enjoy in less than 3 minutes.

This cold brew is perfect for any time of the day. You can always substitute the cold foam with whipped foam, but it turns out to be one delicious cup of cold brew. You can make this at home by yourself with these simple ingredients to avoid those long lines at Starbucks during the summer.

  • 3oz sweet cream

  • 1tbsp salt

  • 2oz caramel syrup

  • 11oz cold brew

  • small amounts of ice

  • cold foam or whipped foam


  1. Pour sweet cream and salt into a cold foam blender.

  2. Add caramel syrup, cold brew, and light ice into a cup.

  3. Pour the cold foam on top.
